My Year in Review (2022)

What a year it has been for me. This year, I had several milestones and goals in mind that I needed to accomplish, both professionally in my career and personally. I also know that some of those goals were reprioritized and shifted for the following year and that was okay with me. Even though it was moved, I still made some progress and you’re never really done.

Although there’s a lot of things I was able to achieve this year, I will highlight a few that I was happy about.

From the professional standpoint, I’ve been able to establish and prove myself that I can help build a business, run a practice, be strategic, expand, and continue to improve. This year, I was also able to establish the company’s Core Values. Something every organization should have. In addition, I am proud that I continue to inspire others.

This year, I’ve also decided to restart my blog! It was certainly a big decision because it takes time, effort, and in some occasion, money (for hosting). And I am happy that I did because it allowed me to continue to learn and share. I do hope that you find my posts helpful. In addition to my blog website, I’ve also started my youtube channel as well, putting video content along with my written blog. So thank you if you’ve been following and interacting with me.

Along the lines of professional and personal goals to achieve, I’ve decided to invest in myself by acquiring Microsoft Certifications. Below is what I achieved so far and looking forward to many more. If you are curious in achieving the same certifications, click on the links below:

As any certifications, it’s a way to confirm and validate your knowledge, however, it is also important you continue to improve and learn. As I would say, “White Belt for Life”.

With post-covid, as many of you, started traveling again. I sure did! Had a successful trip to Directions North American where I learned a lot from industry experts and lots of networking. Summit 2022 was also a big success. I was able to have an opportunity to have several speaking sessions, FIVE (5) total! I am looking forward to future conferences and opportunity to speak and share my knowledge. I’ve also volunteered my time to be part of the Directions North America committee!

One of my biggest and most exciting accomplishment this year is starting a Podcast! Something that I’ve always wanted to do and found a co-host with Brad. We started the podcast early in June and have had 33 podcast episodes as of this writing. We started with just talking about our experiences in Dynamics which led to Quick Tips and then having super cool guests! Sharing knowledge, stories, and experiences!

So it’s been a very fun and successful 2022 year! I am looking forward for 2023!

I want to leave a few thoughts:

Knowing your worth is not about vanity or ego, It's about recognizing the value of who you are. It's about understanding that you deserve to be treated with respect, and that your time and energy are not to be taken for granted. Knowing your worth is about setting boundaries, and not allowing others to take advantage of you. It's about speaking up for yourself and standing your ground, even when it's hard or uncomfortable to do so. Knowing your worth is about being true to yourself, and not sacrificing your values or beliefs for others. It's about being confident in your abilities and strengths, and not letting anyone else define your worth. So don't underestimate the importance of knowing your worth, It's a vital step towards living a fulfilling and meaningful life. Believe in yourself and your value, and don't let anyone else tell you otherwise.

Let’s go 2023! New goals and beginnings!
