Dynamics 365 Fundamentals (ERP - MB-920)
Microsoft has a lot of products to offer within their Dynamics family. One of their big products is Dynamics Finance & Supply Chain Management or what the community calls it F&SCM. The last time I worked on this product was when it was originally called “AX” and it has matured since.
As the community continues to grow and some of the clients I’ve come across are looking into this product as well, it was time for me to brush up my knowledge. What a better way to do it is via studying, Microsoft Learn, labs, access to F&SCM and most importantly, validating my knowledge my achieving the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Fundamentals certification.
If you are looking into achieving this the MB-920, one of the key points that allowed me to pass:
Microsoft Learn - This provides what you need to learn the core capabilities of the application and it even includes a Virtual Machine lab that you need to fully play around F&SCM
Microsoft Study Guide - A Microsoft provided Study Guide in PDF format that provides what you need to get started.
Practice - I would suggest to get yourself familiar with the product but navigating and applying basic principles.
If you are coming from Business Central, I would suggest that you go through the normal functional procedures as you would in BC to F&SCM. You’ll find some similarities and at the same time how F&SCM can be very powerful as it provides you virtually everything you need to run a business in this very powerful ERP solution.
Thank you for following along with my journey and if this helps you in any way, I am glad it did.
