An Engaging Community at Summit 2023

As I start my week, reflecting on last week’s Community Summit, I'm profoundly moved by the incredible energy of learning, growth, and collaboration that permeated every corner of this event. It was more than a conference; it was a transformational journey, and I'm honored to have shared it with all of you.

The 2-Day Academy (Development and Extension in Business Central with Brad P.)

Picture this: I began my journey with a 2-Day Academy, a deep dive into Business Central development and extension. A great mix of different levels of knowledge about Business Central, from Partners, ISVs, and End-Users. The vibe as electric, and the excitement was contagious.

Business Central Adoption: What to Do After Go Live?

Now', let’s talk about what happens after post-implementation of Business Central. Going live with Business Central is just the beginning. It’s like planting a seed and watching it grow. This was a fast-chat session, located at Richardson Terrace, outside. I was surprised by the amount of turn out and how interactive it was!

Moving to Business Central? Watch Your First Steps or You’ll Fall Into a Trap!

Transition to Business Central? I dished out some tips and tricks to avoid those tricky traps along the way. The best part? We all left with a sense of adventure and a game plan to tackle whatever comes our way. As this was also a fast-chat, this was also outside. This session was during the BC/NAV General Session, my initial thought that I wasn’t going to have anyone but wow! This was a standing room only but outside! Seeing roughly about 50 people was incredible.

eCommerce Panelist: eCommerce in Business Central (Ask the Experts)

The eCommerce panel was like a bustling marketplace of ideas. We talked tech, we talked strategy, and we talked shop. The passion for eCommerce in Business Central was undeniable as we discussed trends!

What is AI but Friendly Ally Intelligence? (Co-speaker with Carlos Perez)

As we ended our week, we finished strong with my session on Power Virtual Agent. Utilizing a chatbot that allows to be an extension of your business, integrating it with Power Automate and Business Central!

With all of that, it wasn’t just the sessions; it was the people. The random encounters, the hallways chats, and the shared smiles over coffee - these are the moments that define our community. Additionally, I was a recipient to a gemstone and Programming Committee volunteer. To everyone who made Summit 2023 unforgettable, a heartfelt thank you. Until we meet again next year at San Antonio Summit 2024!

Also, one of the many highlights of this conference is the opportunity to meet Soren, Kennie, Mike, and Aleksander from Microsoft!
